CEXCA – RADIOFREQUENCY ABLATION

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) involves vaporizing nodules at high temperatures (60-100ºC) using a radiofrequency probe inserted into the nodule (special needle). This slows down their growth, progressively reduces their volume (60-80% in 1 year), and eliminates any existing compressive symptoms.
